Privacy notice

File Canvas Core is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and during sittings. You can write to hello@filecanvascore.click or to Level 11, 62 Placeholder Street, Johor Bahru 00000.

What we collect

From the contact form: name, email, school or organisation, the briefing you selected, and your message. During a sitting we may receive class-level education-app exports, timetables, and the names of staff who attend. We ask you not to send identity-card numbers or home addresses.

Why we hold it

We use enquiry data to reply and to schedule a sitting. We use sitting files only to prepare the agreed reading. We do not sell lists. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated advertising.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are deleted after twelve months. Sitting files and the four-page (or shorter) reading are kept for twenty-four months unless a school asks for earlier deletion in writing, in which case we keep only the invoice record required for Malaysian tax purposes.

Rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask to access, correct, or limit the processing of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional uses. Send the request to hello@filecanvascore.click. We will respond within twenty-one days.

International transfers

Our mailbox and this static website may be hosted on servers outside Malaysia. By writing to us you understand that your message may be stored in those locations. We do not send pupil-level files to a vendor or to another school.

Cookies

See the cookie notice. Essential storage remembers your banner choice. An analytics cookie is used only if you accept.

Children

This site is written for school staff and publishers, not for pupils. Do not submit a child’s personal message through the form.
